Mitchg
Allentown is on pace to have the least snowiest winter on record. The previous record for least snowiest winter was back in 2011-12 where only 5.2 inches of snow fell. The winter of 1972-73 was also dominated by grinch and mizer with a whopping 6.0 inches of snow for the winter. This projection is with no snow accumulation in the next 7 days factored in as well. We will agree to disagree on this, its way too early, we are not even in Feb.

Hopefully the pace picks up, this just shows how bad it really has been so far.
Mitchg
70 on the OP Ec 2/8. The Sunday wave is much weaker now which doesn't bring down any cool air. After that the WAA from the offshore high takes over with a cutter into the lakes. ABE snow record still on the table.

chescowx
Since we are in snow drought topic - thought to mention here in Chester County we are already assured of being no worse than the 3rd least snowy winter (6.9" of snow so far this season). We have had 5 winter seasons with under 10" of snow since 1894-95. The lowest with absolutely no snow was 1972-3 with a runner up being 1949/50 with a scant 2.4" of snow

Mitchg
If the NAM is right this thread is mute. Makes us appreciate that for ABE it's hard for it not to snow.
