If the sun doesn't pop out out the clouds I wouldn't expect too much, if any severe. I'm guessing this cloud cover will burn off later and make things interesting.

There are more mid to high level clouds west of us.  It does look rather murky right now.  I just hope it rains, because if we dont get any today, doesnt look like the next chance is going to occur until very late in the week.

Even if it stops don't they have to wait for the track to dry?

Yeah, that's part of it too, I said 5 just to be safe.

A worry about getting it in tomorrow though is weepers, which is when water comes to the surface of the track from cracks in the asphalt. If too much rain falls that could be a problem.

yup, that didn't help either, but thunderstorms are overrated anyways. Atleast the rain is here, before the drought kicks in next week.

Meanwhile we are evaporating the showers as they come close to here.

flood adv out for eastern chesco, western delco,  for that heavy area of rain moving up from the southwest.

We've been alternating btwn drizzle and mod/hvy downpours for a few hours now. Looks like we'll be under more consistent 30+ dbZs for a while.
