mshaffer526
I've noticed that on the hourly forecasts on Accuweather (for example, when precipitation is due to begin), it seems like their models consistently run about 4-5 hours sooner than TWC or any of the other models used on this site. For example, tonight it has the rain set to begin in earnest around 8PM out here in Gap, but nearly every other outlet has the rain holding off until midnight or after. It always seems to correct itself at the last minute, but just wondering why this always seems to be the case.

BeerandWXTogether
I think its generated off the gfs? Largely but I think they blend in other guidance too.
