3.79" in the CoCoRahs gauge this morning. Davis read 4.40"

Apparently there was some flooding in the area, saw the local fire dept out and about last night, and also received a text for our township to avoid travel if possible due to some flooding on roads

Def will be heavy rain around tomorrow esp first half of day but this still doesn’t look like last Sunday to me. Low pressure isn’t as strong. That storm went neg tilt and the flow aligned to keep storms training

Actually, I take that back looking at it more. The flow is aligned pretty well for training storms. This still though is not close to the strength of last Sundays low pressure. That was full bore neg tilt. There is going to be heavy flooding  rainfall I just feel it’s going to more localized and not as widespread as last Sunday. Last Sunday there was a large area with 2-5” of rain that basically covered everywhere nw of 202. I don’t see that this go around.

Don't know if its just recency bias but my gutters and drywells are no longer cutting it. I am looking to get them all to 6" width with larger (and more) downspouts. These monsoons lately have been overwhelming them.

Latest cell (third) today to form a few miles north of a Newtown-Richboro-Yardley line. I know we're not far from the fall line but we're a little below it, and it's been remarkable to watch over the last month during setups like today where storms consistently form and train as few as 2 miles north of this line but so often right smack dab along this line. Haven't seen it this predictable in years of living in Newtown. Usually further north or further south. To quote Dr Spock from Star Wars 🤪, fascinating.

The blockade finally broke down and the tail end of this afternoon's training line in Central Bucks slid south over Newtown. Big rain fatties dropped about 4:30, then we got a good 15 minute deluge for ~1". New southern edge looks to be holding steady halfway between here and Langhorne 2 miles down the road. Hilarious.

Love having a data operation with my PWS, really shows the microclimates you can get in your neighborhood

We had a brief shower and then the sun came out about 10 minutes after. Recorded a temp of 91, dew point of 80 for a HI of 108. Just putrid
