Eps are comforting for now, but 48 hours is a long time in modeling these days.

I was wrong on Jan 8th thinking that we’d skate by with a tenth or two, so not going there this time.

Mitchnick
Based on trends this morning from most modeling, I'm thinking I'll be lucky to get 2". Could easily become a C-1" fail...very easily in fact. Trend needs to stop today and hopefully reverse.

Chubbs
eps cut back/shifted N also. 2" line getting pretty far away from phl and my house
ErieWX
That would be annoying if nyc breaks the shutout with 0.1” and doesn’t set the new record. If it’s not going to snow meaningfully, go for the gold lol.
Mitchnick
Once that north trends start, it's hard to stop. I'd love to know why it happens so often once within 72-96 hrs. When I lived north of BWI, south central PA was always the benefactor. Now that I'm living here, it just goes further north! I wish I could quit this addiction. 😖
Allsnow
Nyc will break the record for latest snowfall now as the system keeps trending north. Looks like next disappointment will be in early February

ErieWX
Probably overdoing it because it’s the NAM but hoping for a dry slot like this after the thump.
Mitchnick
18z Gfs is better out here but unfortunately peters out once into Montgomery County. Probably just a wax or a wane.
