You can't spell act without an "A" and you can't come close to an accurate outlook without "A" either.  C & T proved it this past summer.

Well Al came back to save the winter and........

First last year's verification:

December:  0F (departure)...actual +6.7F

January:      0F (departure)...actual -1.3F

February:   +2F (departure)...actual +3.8F

White Christmas:  North Of Philadelphia. The man walking his dog on White 7 upset the time/space continuum so we can't say how north is north, although Lowville is safe. Lowville was safe.

Snowfall: 22.0" with a big miss very close to VAY (sounds good for north again).  Big misses were east of VAY, hello ACY.

 12.9" actual

Now drumroll please for this season's outlook:

December: 0F

January:  -2F

February: 0F

Raw number that would be 35.4F average for the winter in PHL.

Snowfall 26.0",  you can tell 2000-01 the third year in a row of nina winters is our favorite analog.

White Christmas Chances: Look at map below

Number of Days 70F or higher at PHL: 1   Number of Days <10F at PHL: 0

We'd like to tell you our proprietary formula, but even this drone which followed us around could not figure it out.  Just to make things difficult, the snow hole was played just as a second shower in four holes passed across the area.  Also someone played this winter outlook round in shorts. What?????  And the Doobie Brothers made an appearance in the parking lot.

Remember this is Banter, but will likely be more accurate than a certain almanac.  ;)

Another fun time cranking out the winter forecast. Al brought his A game and Tony added length by hoisting bananas and pineapples. Note also that Tony prepares the winter forecast in shorts with his eyes closed. :smileys-snowman-924988:😄

Maybe my eyes were closed because of the Doobie Brothers in the parking lot. ;)

I think I need remedial typing, or maybe it was the contact high.  Not sure.
