LOL, the earliest 80 degree day on record for Philadelphia is 80 on 3/8/2000

Curious that the March 6th record is 7 degrees warmer at the AC Marina than the AC Airport. Considering the airport is so much further inland and the ocean is always cold this time of year, I thought it would be the other way around.

The period of record for the airport only goes back to 1943. The marina goes all the way back to 1874. No records for airport during the 3/6/1935 torch.

Sunshine the issue today. Warm air is already here above the surface, roughly 60F in the 900-925 mb layer, several thousand feet up.
