My snowman has been safely moved to the garage. It's dank and cold out currently.
Chubbs
Update on today's potential records. Maxes in this area have slipped a bit so iffier for phl, ilg etc. On-the-other hand maxes have increased around Lakes Erie and Ontario so Tom may have a shot. Robnj88
Brief but strong gusts at the line came through here. Ever since the tornado I think I react a little differently to the wind.

cbelke
0.19" out of the squall line, highest winds gust was 34 mph, and I'm in a sheltered area. I would think the winds were pushing 40 - 50 mph in the open.

rramblings
7:30 AM Dec 11: .25 inches of rain, most during the Dec 10th storm. My digital thermometer only remembers the current day and forgot to check yesterday. My Subbie said it was 60F at about 1 PM on Dec 10th. 🙂

tombo82685
finally got power back on. Definitely going to get a generator, lucky temps over night were not suppose to get much below freezing or this could of been ugly

I have a Honda EM6500SX and after figuring out the whole house load, I only needed about 3000 watts, but it was also able to run my 5500 watt hot tub heater as well, and in the summer, it can handle the HVAC easily. The Honda generators can handle a lot more than what they are rated. If you want the best Honda, get the EU7000iS, but its expensive. Both have clean power to run your appliances and sensitive electronic equipment.

I can keep myself occupied if no power and lets face it, at most you may be without power for, what 2 or 3 days? Crews responded very quickly here. No power and no heat with cold temps scares the poo out of me with no back up heat source.
