Yeah, took the family to the outdoor outlet stores nearby. Felt nice with fairly light winds. Hard to believe it's only 30 out.

Oh yeah. It’s the time Of the year when even deep blues aren’t as chilly with the sun. I can feel Our first 60 coming soon.

we already had them this year

Not here in the burbs, 59 on January 2nd. Been plenty cold this winter. No 60s since December 17th in Gilly. That's actually quite impressive the way it likes to torch most winters.

If Congress could get off their bipartisan a**** and actually do something, moving us to permanent DST would be a notable justification for why we pay for them.   Imagine 5:30 being the earliest the sun ever sets.

People would still whine cause the sun would rise at like 9am

I'd prefer the opposite where they abolished DST instead. Can't stand those summer evenings where it feels like the sun never sets.

Honestly, time flew by this "dark season". Not sure why it felt that way to me. Maybe we had more sunny days than normal, obviously snow was hard to come by so maybe it was just drier and sunnier. I try to forget winters like this ASAP.
