The mesos did not model very well that line of thunderstorms which are currently marching through western PA at the moment. I believe it is the same line of severe storms that went through Chicago and Lake Michigan last night. They look pretty healthy on sat.  How well will they survive the downslope into SEPA later today?

Think they will hold together and arrive in the evening. Plenty of instability in front

Recently I read (I think on here?) about sat visible outflow boundaries rather than radar indicated. Today was another great example. You can see it peel its way across western/central PA today ahead of the main line kicking up low level clouds in it's path along with some additional convection behind. Neat!
