mweav067
Had some drizzle come down - my car has some drops on it. Nothing frozen yet as far as I can tell.

Boreal
A minor glaze in Bangor PA this morning from some stray showers, but melted now. Given the temperature and dewpoint trends, seems it may only be a marginal icing event here this evening. currently 30.9°/27.1°

Parsley
35 here. Temps overperforming here like they did yesterday afternoon and last night.
mweav067
According to a couple nearby weather stations, it's either 32 or 33 here. There's definite melting of the snow pack occurring. I guess the question is whether or not surfaces will cool quickly enough for ice to accumulate once the sun goes down.

Parsley
Maybe flash flood watches, or flood advisories by Tuesday morning.
chescowx
Temp starting to fall back a bit but only 34.9 here - nothing to make me think any significant ice is imminent - would expect the NWS will trim off Western Chesco with the upcoming update over the next hour...if we do get some precip no doubt some icing will occur on the trees etc. but not thinking anything significant or needing a warning IMO - but as always we leave to the professionals! mweav067
Ran outside to check the mail and it felt colder than the 32/33 that nearby weather stations are reporting. There was also a definite mist - the road is wet, as was my car. That may be why it felt colder to me. Even so, there was significant melting of our snow pack. Also, I'm no expert, but looking at the radar images the moisture appears to be staying west? One thing I will say though - if the ice threat doesn't materialize, I'll certainly breathe a sigh of relief, but I will feel bad for the professional meteorologists that will take a beating from people that don't really know how complicated these systems are, especially in this area.

frankdp23
I was at blue mountain today snow tubing with the family and there was a mist falling most of the time. It wasn't freezing to anything there. Home now, cloudy

chescowx
Some light rain now with temps ranging from 33.3 on my VP to 31.8 on my Tempest - could my VP be running too warm?? How many less 90's could I have had in the summer?? LOL!

Will check the deck once it hits 32 or below and see if it's reading right.
