Tom's Favorite Thread - Snow/Water Equivalent Ratios for 2/7 Event

Rainshadow

Recommended Posts

I followed the band of heavier snow into NJ using CoCoRaHs reports that reported on both days.  I added a couple of other PA counties.  There must be a law in Delaware County about being a CoCoRaHs observer, there was only one two day report. Philadelphia had rain contamination.

Anyway here goes:

Berks: (5 reports) Avg W/E .24"  Ratio 14:1

Chester: (7 reports) Avg W/E .34"  Ratio 10:1 (Some rain contamination?)

Montgomery: (6 reports) Avg W/E .42"  Ratio 13:1

Bucks: (3 reports) Avg W/E .41"  Ratio 15:1

Lehigh Valley: (3 reports) Avg W/E .15"  Ratio 15:1

Hunterdon: (9 reports) Avg W/E .46"  Ratio 13:1

Somerset: (10 reports) Avg W/E .45"  Ratio 16:1
