Definitely might be the hardest snow I've ever seen

I’m no photographer but couldn’t help but try and take some pics of these awesome dendrites.

I remember some models showing back and forth with the dry air...curious to see if subsequent rounds of precip erode or if we get off to an early start on steady stuff.

About an hour of flurries, then flipped pretty quickly to light snow

First flakes have commenced.

Also a pic of my gaming/weather station that I'll be spending ample time at for the next 2 days.

And yes that is a beer at 10:50 in the morning. Dont judge me its a celerlbritory first flakes beer.

Im definitely an amateur, but looking at the radar, it seems like its already starting to transfer right? Big dry slot in VA developing already. Like I said im no expert and im probly wrong, but I just thought we'd see a more solid shield of snow to our SW by now.

Beautiful setup! That 2070 doing a helluva job rendering that radar.

Switching between flurries and some steadier snow here in northern Berks.

That does seem like a massive dry area over VA. Should we be concerned?

I  wouldn't be yet. The latest HRRR doesn't have the waa really filling in for another 3-4 hours. About 3-5" by midnight area wide.
