Peer pressure got to me.  Just ordered this as my first ever WX station.

Got my first lightning notification just now. Said lightning detected between 19 & 21 miles away. Checked it against RadarScope detection, and it was 20 miles away. Pretty impressive. 
 

Overall I think it’s a great device for its price and simple design, with the obvious caveat of the rain gauge.

Rec'd my 1st 2 notifications earlier that lightning was 23-25 miles away

Rain reporting can be VERY accurate, with proper recalibration, as mentioned ad nauseam‼️

Doing real well today. 

Briefly peaked at 32.2, otherwise at or below freezing all day with elevated surfaces/landscape with a glaze of ice

Just came here to post exactly what you observed with your device!

Mine peaked at  32.4° at which point my bird feeder squirrel shield started dripping for the first and only time all day...

She passed the temperature test with flying colors for sure‼️
