JSchwake28 64
Got my first lightning notification just now. Said lightning detected between 19 & 21 miles away. Checked it against RadarScope detection, and it was 20 miles away. Pretty impressive. Overall I think it’s a great device for its price and simple design, with the obvious caveat of the rain gauge.

Rain reporting can be VERY accurate, with proper recalibration, as mentioned ad nauseam‼️
Parsley 5,919
Doing real well today. Briefly peaked at 32.2, otherwise at or below freezing all day with elevated surfaces/landscape with a glaze of ice
snowwors2 487
LOLOL... Just came here to post exactly what you observed with your device! Mine peaked at 32.4° at which point my bird feeder squirrel shield started dripping for the first and only time all day... She passed the temperature test with flying colors for sure‼️
Chubbs 4,110
Mine was good also - but on the melting side, above 32.5 was too warm for ice except for cold surfaces
Chubbs 4,110
I hear "you didn't tell me it was going to rain/snow/wintry mix today" too often, my only complaint
