@tombo82685, Ok.  Some habits are hard to break.  Leave it to the GFS to start precip chances the earliest and linger it the latest.

I know coldfront, warm front, cold front, ana front, (any more fronts).

Let's start with the 00z run this morning (27th) and just go thru Friday day when it ends.

First of all Tom & I thank everyone for all of the looks with this thread. This is not easy to maintain and we are happy the efforts are looked and appreciated.

I already started on the snow evaluation, planning on posting that soon.  I will do the qpf also.  I will also repeat the results with the start of the next cold season thread.

I guess there is some apropos (ness) to ending the qpf evalutaion before convection becomes the norm and we have seen some convective events already.  So the final event of the season we saw the unlikely twosome of the UKMET & GEFS come in a flatfooted tie for first with the GGEM coming in last.  Yes there was thunder, but the PHL rainfall amount was not terribly unrepresentative for what fell along the I95 corridor.

The GFS was not right at both ends. Better with the start, but no anafront low on Friday.
