0.03" last night, including the fastest downpour I've ever experienced. About eight seconds.

Just got an air quality alert on my phone... This map seems questionable, any explanation how or why this would occur out here?

Dreaded west wind on the coast today, very warm dry air, flies & colder ocean water. Warmest day on the beach in some time - mid 80's with many applications of sun screen.

Though the ocean was colder than the last 2 days the afternoon dip felt great.

Beach Haven Park, LBI

I'd like some rain, ridiculous

That’s convection for you. I feel like much of water from storms barely makes it into the ground anyway. But I guess some is better than none.
