Rainshadow
I started a new pattern discussion for anything in April & beyond. I have read a couple of statistical studies (I cant vouch for the authors) on the Coronavirus not surviving as well in warmer and particular more humid conditions, so bring on the humidity. Australian cases are rising, then again they are not humid.

Baseball0618
The way this winter went and now we are dealing with a global pandemic, I am expecting a blizzard of epic proportions in late April or early May to just continue the stink that is like right now! I am spending some much time trying to find some good news out there that I have no energy left to do the weeklies and the oh yeah the GEFS ends with below normal 850mb temp anomalies for the 23,796th time in a row. But this year, it doesn't really matter. There used to be some weak correlation between a cooler April and cooler summer. The way we are now, I guess that translates to a cooler April and a non record breaking hot summer.
