What a fish storm, 960s mb, hurricane force winds. Looks like gfs, nam and ukie are most bullish on qpf tail to the N+W.

It is cold aloft, have to figure some snow has to fall out of this even if its white rain.  Typical spring storms changes to snow when intensity gets greater then goes back to rain.  Will need elevation to help.  Don't know how much.  Ukie did good with anticipating the intensity of system early.

Can't remember seeing radar returns looking the way they do right now at KDOX...you have large stationary areas of moderate to heavy rain right next to areas of dry air. Could it just be bright-banding? I didn't think it was cold enough for that, and even so it usually looks a little "nicer" on radar imagery, not fuzzy and scattered like this.

Been snowing here for about an hour in Wayne. Nothing sticking of course but nice to see it can still snow here. RIP winter of 2019-20

From my perspective, die a painful and horrible death, winter of 2019-2020.
