It's a good thing some of you don't live in Vermont, Maine, Minnesota, Washington, Alaska, Canada and so forth since you might not survive less than 9 hours of sunlight!

It is about the sunsets, not sunrises to me. So it depends on where in the time zone. You are right about Maine, but Minneapolis sunset is about the same as Philadelphia.

Starting to hear the night music. Once the sun goes down the crickets and cicadas start their nightly show. My personal indicator that God awful July is almost over and we’ve turned the corner on Summ

I got a “flip” for you. Actually 2.

@Allsummer?

The darkest holiday is in the books.  Although it was nice seeing the moon and Venus next to each other on the drive home last night.

This evening was the second darkest Friday pizza pick up, only one more peg to go down before the light at the end of the tunnel becomes brighter.

The Moon/Venus/Jupiter/Saturn conjunction was breathtaking on Thanksgiving night.  Can't remember ever seeing that much earthshine on the moon.

I'm with you on this, Tony, at least this year. Lately, I have been wanting to totally wind down when it gets dark and go to bed super early. It leads to super unproductive evenings. I don't know what it is about this year, but the circadian rhythm has thrown me for a loop.

I'll throw Tom a bone and give him either a late sunrise or an early sunset, but he can't have both!

Yeah, I have been crashing the second my daughter goes to bed.  I feel lazy and cruddy.

That's because we're in between snow threats.   Once we're within d7 you'll be full of energy at strange hours of the night

December really feels like the new November. I just can’t get excited about snow threats (see: a few days ago) at this point in met. winter.  I’d love a 10-18” (yes, I’m greedy) snowfall now to carry us toward Christmas but that’s hard to buy.
