JamieO
Hi everyone, My wife and I are visiting Dewey/Rehoboth for Greyhounds Reach the Beach this week, our annual trip with our two greyhounds that causes me to spend a couple of weeks scheming how to move to like Milton. Anyway, part of the trip involves two fishing outings for me. I normally hit the IRI, or the Cape pier for one trip, and a surf fishing venture to like 3Rs. So, given the fact that surf fishing probably is out because I'd need to fling crowbars given how riled up the surf is going to be, any recommendations for great spots in that general area? Any place that anyone likes when the weather is nor'easter-ish? Don't have a boat (SCA anyway) so would be shore/pier. I used to fish that area all the time growing up and we've only been going down for like 5-6 years, so not the informed guy I was about good spots. Please let me know and thanks. Feel free to turn this thread into a general fishing thread if you like. Thanks, everyone.

At the Indian River inlet you can fish both sides of the inlet from shore, probably an option if the ocean is rough. If it's the incoming tide sometimes the fish come in with the tide.
