He was choking up during the award presentation, you can tell how much this meant to him. Echo the previous sentiments, it was glorious to see Bryson suffer. Probably the easiest player besides Patrick Reed to root against, and he might be passing him in those rankings.

There is no bigger steaming pile of dung than the vast majority of local, network & cable news outlets. It was only natural the Bryson would garner quite a bit of pre tourney hype after winning the US Open but that 67 is par for me at Augusta comment really raised some eyebrows. He was part of the early opening round streaming coverage & never looked comfortable from his 1st tee shot. He appears to have righted the ship today at 12 and has an eagle putt on 13 to start tomorrow so with 15 & 16 still to play he has a solid chance of making the cut. It's amazing what pressure & the spotlight can do to some golfers that's why Tiger performing at enormously high level while always the focal point of every tournament he plays is such an achievement. Wolff also rec'd quite a bit of hype coming in & he's definitely missing the cut. Tomorrow looks light another green light day weather wise with little wind. Could be some 20 mph gusts SUN so maybe the course as we normally know it show up for the final round. I have to disagree with #1. The masters is the course. Yea, sucked without that fanfare and the roars, but that course is absolutely gorgeous and stunning.never gets old to look at . The green fairways, with the Pine straw contrast... man, just beautiful.

Qtown Snow 4,617
Heading out to Fox Hollow to play a round in a couple hours. Seems like many others doing the same, no tee times left for today.

Funny, there is Fox Hollow course in my town too.

They are booked all weekend.

mshaffer526 2,136
I am headed out to Loch Nairn this morning. Anyone ever play there? It's only my second time out this year so I'm sure it will go well.
Harbourton 291
If you wanted to see perfect outdoor weather for the extended Thanksgiving, put this this in your pipe and smoke it. Hope everyone had a great holiday.

For some reason doesn't get much play during the week.
mweav067 115
My wife and I were able to buy a house back at the end of September and were able to put Christmas lights up outside for the first time.
mweav067 115
Figured this was the best place to ask this, but as you can see from my above photo, we put some inflatables on our lawn for Christmas. Since this is literally the first time my wife and I have been able to do this, what's the general care instructions for our Christmas lights based off of the forecasted snow tomorrow? I'm guessing that we should at least unplug everything - but I'm not sure how to handle the inflatables. Remove them from the yard completely or just uncover them once the snow is done? I just have no experience in this area at all.
Rainshadow5.8 9,464
The kid has good genes and already a sweet swing. I don't what club he used, but his appraoch shot from 200 yards made the green, one more than I have had in my life.
colonel_kurtz 3,022
Had to head down to Egg Harbor, Twp. to find some open courses, thanks to a family connection were able to get a tee time at Harbor Pines as all the places down there were booked solid. Equally fortunate to finish 18 since there was a 2 hour frost delay & we didn't get started until 12:00. Very slow play with backed up tee times & golf path only. I don't know how they'll stay open after the next monsoon, many holes are completely saturated. Always good to squeeze in a winter round whenever possible.
colonel_kurtz 3,022
Played Eagle Ridge in Lakewood, NJ for the 1st time Thursday, very nice 27 hole public course. Greens were still pretty wet however the rest of the course was in great shape as it drains well over in that area. Unfortunately the new ownership leaves much to be desired & are looking to develop the property that's not on the landfill. Quite a battle going on with the local residents who are fighting the development. WED / THURS this week looking like nice winter golfing days.
Harbourton 291
Eagle Ridge was once a quarry for the little orange/brown pebbles you see on many shore house property. Good course. One nine is so far away from the clubhouse that you need a cart to get there. But it is the best nine .I know what you are talking about the future development but it would be politically incorrect to mention the responsible party.
