Rainshadow
Haven't posted much about the garden, it has been an ok season. Zucchini got powdery mildew fast with all the humid conditions, but everything else is holding its own. We are awash in cucumbers and cherry tomatoes.
Rainshadow
This is a thing of beauty, Parasitoid wasp eggs on a tomato hornworm. All six I have picked off plants had them.
cbelke
Anyone recommend a golf course in the Atlantic City area? I'll be there next Sunday.
Qtown Snow
Played Limekiln friday, another course closing this year, bummer. Anyone ever play Olde Homestead? Playing there Saturday, looks like a tough one.

Drive south about 25 minutes and play Shorgate. You won’t regret it.

Ballamor is super nice and one of my favorites. . Shoregate if you wanna drive south (directly outside of Sea Isle). Tougher to play, but nice layout. Atlantic City country club if you wanna pony up $$. Then there’s always Seaview resort.

colonel_kurtz
Played Oak Island CC a couple times last week, remarkable recovery after Hurricane Florence & over 100" of rain last year. They lost 11 greens from flooding & over 250 trees from Florence. Thursday I we were golfing at a safari with all the wildlife running, swimming & flying around.
cbelke
Appreciate the recommendations for Ballamor. Beautiful course, no one in front or behind us. Ominous clouds around and mostly cloudy with a southerly breeze. Hot as.. well, you know what I mean. 😉

cbelke
It was a great time. Since there was nobody behind us they were turning the sprinklers on as we finished the holes. Finished with a 86. Happy with that and it would have been better if not for those DAMN sand traps... 🤐

It is a very nice set up with three clusters of 6 holes or so in each cluster.
