Njcat
If one looks at the radar trend, this looks to be a 3-4 hour event. Just eyeballing radar, at current pace, back end reaches city between 7-730 am.
Njcat
Still nothing here in south philly, light radar returns have been over us for an hour. Heavier returns just about to arrive.
Njcat
Right on cue. Snowing in the city. Already a dusting in less than 5 minutes.
Squally
Snowing fairly hard here less than a mile from Tom's golf course in Wayne. Easily a 1/2 in.... maybe more just eyeballing it.
Birdtown2
Wow just woke up and looked at radar. Echoes started around 1:30. at 3:30 it looks like about 2” everything covered. Not even any grass blades sticking out 27*
Chubbs
1.7" - not as hard as an hour ago.

Was like that in south philly until about 3 minutes ago. Flipped over to big fluffy flakes. Borderline heavy snow.
Squally
I realize this will be a quick hitter but impressive burst. Went for a walk and measured an unofficial 1.5in. on the grill.
Heisenberg
Wow heaviest snow of the season right now...up there with that squall we had....legit +SN visibility basically to end of my block rn. Went for a quick.jebwalk since I cant sleep again because of my toothache.
Heisenberg
Based on the radar, while quick, the heavy stuff is kinda training into the city. Should see 2" totals for sure. Man I love heavy snow at night. Most people like day snow but Ive always preferred night snow. Nothing like the orange glow of heavy snow at night from the street lights etc. Also always fun once you have some accumulation on the ground and everything gets brighter during +SN.
MattMal88
Rippin out there in NE philly. Im at work but eyeballing it looks close to an inch already and its only been snowing for around and hour or so. I think 2-3 to maybe even 4 inches is definitely doable here. Especially if these rates keep up for any amount of time. And im with ya Heisy, i enjoy night time snow better.
NJHurricane
Light snow, looks like an inch in National Park NJ
Squally
Nice little storm. Snowing quite well still. Going back outside while it lasts. Another unofficial measurement of a hair beyond 2in. in Wayne, Pa. My favorite storm since Nov to date.
