Can anyone explain what is meant in the NWS discussion this morning when referencing the fall line?

Meanwhile, a weak clipper system currently over the Great Lakes
and Ohio Valley will dive into Delmarva this afternoon. Snow
develops late this morning over extreme southeast Pennsylvania
and northeast Maryland, and will spread into Delaware and
southern New Jersey. The bulk of the snow will generally fall
south of Philly, but some scattered snow showers are possible up
to the Fall Line. Will bump up PoPs to categorical across
northern Delmarva/southern New Jersey, and will extend likely
PoPs down into southern Delmarva.

Fall line is where elevation starts to increase from coastal plain.  I like to use rt1 as the landmark for where it stars
