California Wildfire Smoky Conditions Obs

Thanks Tony. Figured that all that smoke will make its way east, but fortunately for us not as bad as what they experiencing out west.

Been following the wildfire burning in Glacier National Park, Howe Ridge Fire. Up through Monday August 20th, aircraft were grounded because of the smoke, the aircraft flew on Tuesday August 21st, see this Aug 22nd report on the Howe Ridge Fire from Inciweb. For those that are interested, here is the latest report from CAL FIRE on the Mendicino Complex that has burned some 406,500 acres, largest fire in CA history. CAL FIRE reports that aircraft flying as conditions (smoke and wind) allow.
