cbelke
Depressing when lines like this come through, its usually North of me that gets hit, or the line seems to split and redevelop to the South. I get those near misses, particularly with the weaker frontal passages.

Looks like two nice cells rolling through Montgomery County on the HRRR.
Rockchops
Not looking too great for today...virtually no CAPE. I was hoping for some more sun early this afternoon and this morning. Bummer!

Timing and lack of instability I think may hurt areas east

tombo82685
we got our building CAPE mainly from city east. This won't be a big line of storms that comes in, it will be scattered severe type stuff.

tombo82685
can clearly see, best chance of any severe is city on west where best parameters are.
tombo82685
The anvil of the storm down in York county could muck things up for us upstream of it. Can see how the clouds are being blown off it. This would reduce instability
tombo82685
That storm in York county looks nasty. That’s gotta be dropping some big hail

Sixers lost, the Amish get crushed and VAY puffs anvil cirrus with a decaying line.

tombo82685
I think the severe threat is shot pretty much. To much cloud debris around.

SouthernNJ
The Poconos should get a decent line up there, better chance of damaging winds in that area. The Mason-Dixon line supercell has looked sharp for a long time, may run into other storms south of it before entering Cecil and Chester counties. Could see the CWA's first official severe reports of 2018 from these.
mshaffer526
Gap appears to once again be the gap between the severe stuff in northern and southern parts of the county 😫

The cloud debris coming off that super cell mucked things up. You can see how the line by MDT has fallen apart. Would expect the warned cell in lancaster co to weaken as well to a degree.

Rockchops
Saw it hit 79.5 in the last refresh but didn't get a screenshot of it. Updraft core is collapsing pretty quickly, wouldn't be surprised to see some microburst action here. edit: never mind!

Yea that thing was a beast, looks like it's on the decline now as that other cell merged in and it's tapping rain cooled air
