SalemCountyNJ
I can't wait to hear the following " With the 32nd pick in the NFL draft, the World Champion Philadelphia Eagle pick" ... especially when the draft is in Dallas

Dallas had Drew Pearson and gave the Eagles fans hell. Now that this is being held in Dallas, I wish the Eagles would of went with B-dawk this year to return the favor to the Dallas fans. The Eagles have David Akers doing it, meh.

I remember a game against the Giants one time where he got knocked down and tumbled onto the Giants sideline while trying to run down the returner and he popped up swinging. Although truthfully I'm not expecting the Eagles to have a pick tonight. If any of the five QB's are still there at 32 (or if a team wants Rudolph/Falk/Lauletta badly enough - see last year) my suspicion is the Eagles trade down getting a couple picks for tomorrow night and one or two picks for next year. My biggest fear going into the draft tonight is that Saquon Barkley ends up getting picked by the Giants.

Harbourton
I would be surprised if Howie stays pat at 32. If you want to keep Wentz healthy, draft some offensive linemen. They take longer to develop.

As a Giants fan, I'm fine with either route as long as they pick one direction or the other decisively. I really love what Barkley brings to the table in terms of talent and attitude. He could easily be the face of the franchise after Eli is gone. Philly showed how quick things can turn around in this league when a GM pulls the right triggers. Therefore, I'm leaning toward wanting to draft Barkley and roll the dice with Eli the few next years and hope Webb (QB-3rd round pick last year) can slide in as a respectable QB thereafter. We saw again how you don't need top tier QB's to win Super Bowls just 2 months ago.

In the past couple of seasons the giants had no run game and it was all on Eli's shoulders and we saw what happened. Doesn't help either you have a head case in Odell for a wr

colonel_kurtz
Great night for both NY teams, will be tough to adjust to Barkley going from the blue you root for to the blue you boo for. I don't have a feel for the Cowboys but even before the draft I believed the Giants & Redskins are going to improve significantly this season. Much like a guy like Wentz (for me), it will probably be hard for opposing teams fans to hate on a guy like Barkley (unlike a clown like OBJ). Jets trade up paid dividends. Browns seem clueless. Broncos and Colts couldn’t lose with those picks.
