These ptype algorithms on tropical & pivotal leave alot to be desired.  IDK if they assume that the models 2m temps really stink and default any dewpoint of 32F or lower to snow.  Anyway 37/32 is rain and best case scenario white rain.  RGEM/ICON ptypes at least appear logical for tonight.  They both maintain the norlun a bit longer leaving PHL or points just southwest in the sweetest spot on Tuesday.

Has let up after a brief period of heavier snow - winners and losers today depending on where the bands set-up

Charlie (Folks southeast of the city),

Looks like there are more models favoring the best band from Chester southeast into Atlantic vs Montgomery southeast into Burlington.  Either way they are all in the local Philly metro area.

Now that we're in the thick of this" event", may I suggest that, once an event starts, discussion related to forecast be included in the obs thread instead of lingering in the short term discussion? I think this is what Tony has been doing. It's much less "clicky" than what we've typically done.
