Hello,  yes its that time of the year for Paul to talk smack about his golf round from last year's outing. 

Our annual PhillyWx Golf Outing is planned for Golden Pheasant Golf Club on Saturday September 15th with the first tee time at 10 am.  Brian quoted me a price of $55 including the cart which is still pretty good for South Jersey during the prime golfing season on a Saturday morning. 

For anyone who has never been there, this is a rather casual outing as some groups scramble, others play their own shots, others marvel at Paul draining non meteorological bomb putts after calling it.   

We do talk about oh I don't know Sandy, the upcoming winter, gale watches, etc on the 19th hole afterwards. Please just order hot dogs so the frazzled person can serve them before sunset.

If you plan on coming, please respond in the thread.  We will bump this from time to time around the majors. We just ask for a decision to be made by Labor Day. Anyone who does not golf is always welcome to come after the round for the 19th hole.  I'd say the first group normally gets done about 215-230pm.

We had to change the date of our outing at Golden Pheasant to Saturday September 15th starting at 10 am. A much larger than originally anticipated other outing on the 29th complicated that day.

The green fee is still 55 dollars & because we are accommodating their change, Brian is going to kick something else tbd that day.  

Please please respond by Labor Day if you can make it. Right now the list that I know who is coming: (Please add/copy/paste your name to the list)

I won’t know for sure if I can make it until closer to the date, but I assume that’s not an issue as long as I’m not golfing?

That would be great.  I think the first group would finish about 230 pm.

Be careful coming in as there are two holes right after you make the right into the course driveway where people are hitting tee shots across that roadway.

We'll miss you.  I will personally miss you driving up on us with your tee shots on some of the par 4s.

I hope you have a chance to play Buck Hill Falls while you are up there.  The course was in its usual excellent condition in July.

I wouldn't expect the GFS to forecast anything but:
