  1. Went low today (same can’t be said for my playing partners lol). 37/40 split . Wind really picked up on the back 9 🤷🏻‍♂️. Hitting my irons soo flush right now, it’s been an amazing feeling. (And keeping my tee shots in play!)

played at Springfield CC. Not a bad day today.

Yeah 377 yd drive on #6 & he's 168 yds. past Westwood however end result was a birdie for both of them.

Driving distance didn't win the tourney for Bryson today it was his brut strength to hit balls out of horrendous lies in the rough & his putting.

That 50’ he hit to save par on 11?? Was pretty amazing. I’m not a Bryson fan, but that was huge.

Is that "open space" behind your property? Looks like there might be a drainage/dry creek bed back there but it looks like the mounds there keep you property from draining properly.

Yea. When the land was developed, not sure if this was man made or natural. Not full of water, but it is wetland.

I kinda drew a side view of the yard elevation. (I’m not Picasso) slopes down towards middle from the house and the back of the yard. Couldn’t be more than a 1’ at the lowest spot (around the fire pit is the first place flooded).

How does your property drain? Does it just funnel all into a low area or does it go like my drawing and goes into middle then flows out of your yard in the middle?

Kinda drains to the middle, then just drains out somewhere hidden underground ?? It would take a lot to run it out front towards curb, and avoid directing it into a neighbors yard.

Would be my recommendation. Get soil to raise areas I have circled to get surface runoff down into the middle. Looks like there is fall from middle of that area that runs off the property to wards fence? If not, funnel it into an area where the water will collect that put a surface daylight drain to catch standing water then run it off the property with pipe underground

Yea. It’s def the middle /catch basin of the yard. (Back of yards runs to middle, and from the house it runs towards the middle). Which is good, cause it keeps water out of the house. Seems like that’s my game plan. Lots of digging and dumping dirt!!

What’s the cost for the drainage to be done by contractors usually? Just a ballpark; I’ll probably get some quotes.
