  1. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_nX0MfRaaxw I think the IQ test is a very underrated Seinfeld episode. "The door? Why would I go out the door? The window is right here."
  2. I don't think this pattern will come to a sudden end. I predict a cold and snowy March. The lion will roar!!!!
  3. A solution may be to issue a Winter Storm Warning if snowfall rates are forecast to exceed an inch an hour, regardless of whether the storm is forecast to fall within the 4-6 (or over) inch range. That may get people's attention more than a special weather statement.
  4. Yeah no I agree. I was agreeing with your statement that it's a shame people blow off warnings from the NWS.
  5. In defense of the NWS, they did issue a special statement about heavy snow rates.
  6. Patterns like this don't dissipate easily. I think March is going to be epic.
  7. NWS says up to an additional 2 inches of snow. This was issued at 12:34 pm. It seems strange. It would seem it's about to end based upon radar.
  8. Wow 4 inches on the ground and now very heavy snow in West Chester. This may end up meeting WSW criteria, at least for my location.
  9. Not an official measurement, but I think we have about 4" in West Chester. How much longer for the snow? Assuming we are in it for another couple of hours, we can easily hit 6".
  10. The sky is leaden, snow is falling heavily. Visibility is poor. It almost feels like a clap on thunder could happen at any moment.
  11. FWIW, the NWS has increased its totals for West Chester from 1 to 3 to 2-4 inches.
  12. Bastardi? If so, he's no more accurate than anyone else. Really biffed the last few winter forecasts.
  13. There is a ton of snow out there and its going to be pretty cold the next couple of nights. There is a good chance we don't hit the forecast highs for the next couple of days.
  14. I agree, but my wife isn't satisfied with just 3 or 4 inches. Only a good 10 incher makes her happy.
