After registering for wait lists and checking online 30 minutes/day for appointments, I finally scored my first Moderna shot by asking the Walgreens pharmacist at the end of the day if they had any extra.

First shot of Moderna - no problem. We'll see what the second shot does in four weeks.

On the good news I was finally able to free up my vaccination appointment date (April 12th) for someone else.

Living out in Lancaster County, balloons are almost a daily occurrence in spring/summer/fall. They used to land near the Gap Family Center just off of Route 30 all the time, love hearing the gas as they go over our neighborhood. The other day, there were two F/A-18s doing maneuvers for a solid hour in the valley over our house. I am wondering if they came from Dover? We get a good number of military craft overflying our area.

That's the only Guinness I drink. The other varieties without the nitrogen don't really do it for me. Stopped by my local pub on St Patty's for a pint, then came home and had a can and I honestly didn't taste a difference.

I have been falling in love with Guinness all over again. Specifically, the 16 oz. cans that have the nitrogen widget inside. So smooth.
