So it has shifted north again after shifting south for a short time, correct? Does this mean there is little chance left of a changeover back to snow?

Yea it's screaming north. I wouldn't rule it out that it changes back over but it may be very brief before it ends. Further west and north have the best shot

Even NWS glossary has a problem with that one...

Sleet

(PL) - Sleet is defined as pellets of ice composed of frozen or mostly frozen raindrops or refrozen partially melted snowflakes. These pellets of ice usually bounce after hitting the ground or other hard surfaces. Heavy sleet is a relatively rare event defined as an accumulation of ice pellets covering the ground to a depth of ½" or more.

Finally seeing temp drop to 32° sleet/rain east falls. Pic of my window sill with nice collection of ice pellets.

And I failed to buy coffee smh I really have to go outside now.

Really intense extratropical lows do develop "eyes", might see one on visible later.

The AC tide gauge. Good thing this is a fast mover and will only have one bad tide.

Disgusting outside in Drexel Hill. Pure IP, few inches of IP. Hitting dry slot nearby. That is a nasty band to mynwest by Tombo though

Slizzard!  I like that one...and it pretty much sums up what has been happening over the past two hours or so.

I wonder if I can get to 10" total accumulation - with half of it being sleet?
