Qtown Snow

3/13/17 - 3/15/17 OBS : Rocky III The Final Knock Out Punch?

Recommended Posts

4" of snow in downtown West Chester and has been sleeting since 3am. I know because it has kept me up most of the night! Battleground looks to be right along turnpike now.

@JimCaruso here's what the correlation coefficient looks like.

Mostly sleet in Gap? In Parkesburg it looks like 90% sleet 10% freezing rain with an occasional flake.

Heavy sleet with snow starting to mix back in. Elkins Park, Cheltenham Township. ~4 inches of base snow.

26.8 degrees in Sinking Spring, Berks.  Snow/sleet mix that favored sleet since 5 am has favored more snow for about the last 15 minutes, still hearing the pingers though too. Measured 11" even with the compaction.

Newtown - still hearing mostly sleet.

Supposed to be working from home so guess I had better start :)

I always like cracking the window open to hear the rain, hearing sleet instead is kind of cool

Winter storm warning replaced blizzard warning, still calling for a changeover with 4-10" and 1-2"/hour snowfall rates

Precipitation shut off down here. Each of the mature (45') pines on my property line has branches drooping to the ground.
