What model do you usually use? Does the euro offer cape/shear/instability parameters?

EC sometimes has a hard time picking up on CAPE.

With the sun coming out expect storms to start popping again. Think southern areas have a better shot today of seeing storms. Higher instability down there right now.

I drove through a decent downpour around 10:00 this morning around the DC area. Was stuck in traffic on 95 trying to merge onto 495 W. It was weird how the sky would clear and then all of a sudden I'd be under another downpour. At one point I had my wipers going full blast then 10 seconds later the sun was out and the road was dry.

Had a good view of the storms moving in from the school,

which is near an open field.  Saw a broad circulation on

the front edge where all the clouds were being pulled

towards the storm.  Looked neat to see it.  A check of

TPHL later on showed a broad circulation at around

4 PM to the east of my location.  Lot of rain for about

a half hour before ending.  The Flash Flood Warning

had everyone's phones going off.

Def some interesting cloud formations out there today. Traffic slowed down and put flashers on at rush hour on the njtp with tropical-like downpours...Both of our phones went off right next to each other tonight with the ffw. Mission accomplished with the alerts, they definitely get your head up...

I wasn't looking at velocities much today, but the storm that dumped on lower montco yesterday had a meso with it. Not sure if anything came from it. Evene the storm this morning had a little wind with it going into new castle county.

I would imagine we see this rain weaken as it heads east with the east winds and stable airmass.

Judging by the SPC's convective outlook, I'm assuming we're going to be stuck under this cloud cover for most of the day? Any chance we break out of it to get things fired up?

Better chances tomorrow and Friday. Today feels like Providence RI.

Have to check the shields, we managed to get "something".  Very unusual. Nice view of the thunderstorms from Seaview yesterday.

I'm in Central Virginia this week and SPC just bumped my area up to slight risk. I'll let y'all know if I see anything exciting so you can live vicariously through me  :)
