At the last minute, it seemed to slide a little to my sw.  The low constant rumbles of thunder was pretty cool.  It seemed like a constant rumble for 10 minutes or so

Very cool pic. Although obviously not a significant or severe storm, it is rare in these parts to be able to photograph a discrete, isolated cell like that. Not only because of the infrequency of isolated storms surrounded by a relatively clear sky, but also just because of all the hills, trees, buildings and lack of good vantage points. Very "Plains-like" image.

Love being able to see the direct translation of a radar echo to the visual of an isolated storm.

Always interesting to me how the visual of the core somehow seems smaller than the radar echo would imply.
