Yea, have to see what becomes of the cells between pottsville and williamsport. Best shot for areas southwest. Also have to watch stuff out by pitt as that may swing in later on for areas west of town

Pics shown looking NE from my location in Newtown at the McCaffreys shopping center. Radar image at same time shown for location context. This was around 4:20pm. As you can see, my location was only affected by that little flange on the end, but still had very, very heavy rain.

Experiencing very heavy rain from this cell now at 6:15. Another one in its wake to the NW following the same track. No BBQ tonight I guess. Bought steaks so I could cook them inside if necessary 😏

They are leaning toward the north and looking forward to a whopping trace overnight as all convection collapses. It is just amazing how those cells just keep on running over nearly the same spots while hello we are way more unstable here.  On Thursday the convection was southeast of us, drove thru a downpour to come back to dust. Today I am sniffing anvil as the tumbleweed rolls by.

Not even a drop with that. Glad I watered this morning. All set for tomorrow morning too.

Looks like I might top out at 0.62".

Much needed, even though most of it ran off.
