Yeah the circulation was stronger as it entered Mount Laurel.  Wow that would be something else to have two tornadoes within 5 days.

Had multiple neighbors with water infiltration in their basements through flooded egress windows. Not a pretty sight. Not sure if it was failed drainage or just overwhelmed drains with the massive rise in the water table.

Storm total ended up: 4.71"

Quite a way to break in the new cocorahs gauge.

Checked my rain gage at 9 PM, 1.34 inches. A couple of periods of heavy rain and some impressive thunder and lightning. According NWS LSR, a house in Raritan Twshp Hunterdon County was hit by lightning and caught fire. I may have heard that strike, I am close to Raritan Twshp and heard a very impressive boom around the time of the LSR.

We made out a lot better than others elsewhere in NJ and eastern PA.

I wish all of you affected by flash flooding from the heavy rains a safe evening.

Pregnant woman and her son drove into floodwaters between Boyertown and Pine Forge (Grist Mill Road) in the flood emergency area along Ironstone Creek. Car became stuck and eventually swept away. This was around 5pm. Car was just located now, they passed away. Horrible tragedy.

Well I was using the Mount Holly web site. I hear that there is a great smart phone app for that I might have to look into next month.

Got home last night to a flooded basement and crawl space.  Water coming in places I never knew were possible.  Time to bite the bullet and get waterproofing.  New house so wasn't sure exactly what to expect...now I know.

Might as well, saves money on storm surveys.
