  1. Well, the not well computer forecast travails of 99L, aka as TD9, aka as maybe later today Hermine continues. Models have gone back and forth about whether the trof will have enough of a tug on the system or whether or not it can be left behind and meander off the eastern seaboard. Recently the UKMET, GGEM and 06z GFS have taken turns at possibly leaving it behind. While the consensus solution is fairly offshore, this has not been a going exactly as planned system. If it werent for that, this weekend really looks fantastic with a Canadian high bringing some of the coolest weather in quite a while. Regardless of the tropical outcome, the surf this weekend will be rougher than usual. If you are going to the shore, please only swim where lifeguards are around.
