One has to hope the NAM is right and the Euro (looks like after 6 pm) & forever it is going to be raining GFS is wrong. Alot of dry air in the mid levels. 100% saturation 600mb to 200mb

They have been rained out before on a Sunday and had to play on Monday. But, if there is one course where everything changes when it rains or the sun comes out for 5 minutes, its Augusta.

I get the impression they wont (or dont) move up the starting time. If I were to read the tea leaves correctly it looks almost like two waves of convection. The first one in the NAM's world has too much dry air and does the Mount Laurel split. That one wouldn't matter moving up the starting time. Also with all of that mid level dry air, if a thunderstorm were to form, the downdrafts would be rather intense, that NAM sounding is more than adequate for pulse severe alone. The second wave is with the front itself which may arrive too late.

For phase II from 12z Saturday and beyond, we can start with the 12z run today. I was so looking forward to the FV3 eliminating runs like this by now.
